The consumers should be the creators
Have you ever been asked to take a survey for a weird product? Or how often has someone asked to you right up your experience with a company after they offered you a service? Every year companies spend thousands and thousands of dollars on market research in order to produce the next big product or improve their severice, when in actuality it's not only cheaper but easier to get the information they need. Not enough camponies are using blogging systems in the way they should. By looking at blogs related to their company they have immediate access to reviews and critisisms. Often time they don't even have to look much farther then the home page. For example Amazon has a very simple system in place where costumers can rate and review products. The companies can even respond directly to the consumers to dig for more research. It's surprising how many companies are overlooking such a useful ans simple tool.
